Welcome to the Texas plus 9 conference.

With the decision by Texas to stay it appears that the Big 12 will survive at least a little while longer. Let me ask this question though. Did the rest of the conference just admit that Texas is superior to the rest of the conference combined? Texas got the sweetest deal you could imagine. They will get Big 10 money and have the ability to start its own network. They will have the ability to get even more control over its recruiting base with that network. Here is the biggest thing though. They gave every school in the Big 12 the notice that life in this conference can end at any moment. Things could get pretty dicey in the Big 12. Why though if you were the Big 12 give them this power. When is more money just not that important. The Big 12 just sold their souls to the devil and I love it!
